What to expect
- 30 days prior to your procedure, avoid the use of Retinal A, suntan/sunburn, botox injections, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion
- A few days before your treatment, avoid eyebrow waxing, threading, and tinting.
- 24 hours before your treatment, avoid blood thinners such as Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Niacin and alcoholic beverages.
- On the day of your appointment, avoid stimulants such as coffee, caffeine, the sauna, working out, and tanning.
- You are welcome to wear makeup to the appointment but be aware that the forehead and brow area will be cleaned, sanitized, and wiped down, removing any trace of makeup.
- Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment to allow for filling out paperwork and preparing for the procedure. Late arrival may result in rescheduling or cancellation.
- Your eyebrows may appear thick, bold, and dark. You may experience some swelling, irritation, and soreness. When fully healed after 10-14 days, the color will lighten up to 40% and the thickness will shrink.
- Understand that eyebrows will never be perfectly symmetrical. Slight differences result in a beautifully natural effect, similar to actual hair growth.
- Results may vary and are dependent on your age, skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, etc.
- Days 3-7, brows will begin to peel and itch. Avoid scratching or rubbing your new brows, allow the scabs to heal and shed off naturally.
- During the first 10 days, avoid putting any products (other than those prescribed at your appointment) on your brows. Try to keep your brows dry and protected avoiding long hot showers, heavy sweating, and sleeping on your face.
- For 30 days, avoid sun exposure, tanning, sunbathing, light therapies, and facial treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser treatments.
- Sun protection such as SPF and hats will result in longer-lasting pigmentation.
